Emelia Harley, MSN, RN

Emelia Harley is the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services for UPMC Chautauqua.

Emelia has worked in a variety of roles and settings in the last 40 years. Her clinical background is focused on critical care and emergency nursing including pre-hospital and fight. She served as the unit director for the Emergency department providing oversight for the building of the new state of the art ED. Emelia developed and implemented a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Center of Excellence in the ED and led WCA Hospital to NYS Primary Stroke Center designation. Most recently, she served as the Clinical Director for the Nursing Department and Director of Quality focused on regulatory, risk management and patient safety.

Emelia served an adjunct faculty appointment at Jamestown Community College.

She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing at Jamestown Community College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from State University of New York at Buffalo, and Master of Science in Nursing from Daemen College in Buffalo New York.

Emilia serves on the Jamestown Community College School of Nursing Advisory Board. Active member of AONL.
